King's Church Cockermouth is part of a wider family of churches called Newfrontiers. The Newfrontiers family have 600 churches in 40 nations who work and relate on a mission together. Newfrontiers started in the South of England but now extends to many diffferent nations of the world, with teams of churches working together in their locality. Each year leaders of the churches gather together for a Leaders Conference in Brighton and three times a year for two days of Prayer & Fasting. Visit Newfrontiers.
In Cumbria there are Newfrontiers churches in major towns such as Keswick, Carlisle, Workington and Penrith and we come together for prayer times and leaders meetings. We also join forces for children's events and the Ignition youth weekend.
In addition we are part of the North Region of Newfrontiers which includes Scotland, the Isle of Man and much of the North of England. We gather each year at the August Bank Holiday for North Camp. Visit North.
King's Church particularly has overseas links with churches in Mexico, Canada, France, Romania, Nepal and Zimbabwe.
