Being part of the Church is not just about attending on a Sunday, but about sharing our lives together as family. You can view our dedicated pages for kids and youth.

People from the church often get together informally during the week. In addition we have a number of specific meetings.

House Groups
We have a number of groups where people get together midweek to worship together, learn from the bible together and have fun together. These groups mainly meet on Wednesday or Thursday evenings. If you know someone else who is in a housegroup, feel free to ask if you can come along with them. Alternatively ask one of the church leaders on a Sunday. Melbreak Group Information

Prayer Meetings
At present we have two prayer meetings each week. One on Tuesday lunchtime from 1.00pm till 2.00pm and the other on Thursday morning from 7.00am till 8.00am. Both of these prayer Meetings are held at The Reef in Challoner Street.

VIP Meetings (Vision, Impartation, Prayer)
We aim to gather as a whole Church family one midweek evening per month (normally on a Thursday). These are usually held at the Saints Rooms in Cockermouth from 7.45pm till about 9.30pm. See advanced dates on the homepage for the next VIP meeting.

Alpha
Alpha is a great way to find out more about God. We usually run two Alpha Courses starting in September each year - one in the evening and one during the day time.

In addition, we also have a number of occasional activities such as weekends away, social evenings, gatherings with other Newfrontiers churches in Cumbria etc. During the year we also get involved with local events such as the Georgian Fair and cockermouth carnival as well as running our own WOW Day with fun events for the family.
